Did not imagine this would be this complicated.
So, shed with standard construction walls - 2X4, sheathing, J channel (about 3/4 outside sheathing) and vinyl siding. 2x4, sheathing outer edge of J all line up well to create door hole, finish rather than 'rough'.
I plan to build a 2 1/2 steel stud framed door, 1/4 plywood both sides, nice flat plastic glued exposed side. So, say 3 in thick final door, can move in or out of hole a bit as required.

HOWEVER, the door will need to open 180 or so. As it (and its mate) opens, I will lose 6 inches of hole width (as 90 door frame enters space) that I can get back with a full 180 opening.

I thought I would just put, say 4 1/2 'deep' hinges on, that could clear the J, barrel outside to weather, and the 4 1/2 depth would allow catching the wall stud and the door stud. Obviously (now) that leaves barrel pins exposed to thieves.
I did not plan on strap hinges, did not think I could get them to clear the J.

What do I want?
Need security, medium weight, close to 180, clear 3/4 or so of J past structure.
THX!

They make hinges with nonremovable security pins.
