Hinge for folding bale tines

I have found that company as well. I contacted them about a video to see how much theirs move and haven’t heard back in over a week. Honestly, it seemed like a recipe for something to wear out quickly or get stuck in a weird way.

I usually do 5 3x3x8s and do put the last 2 ontop of the bottom 3. I still have a lot of issues. I also tried putting another stack of 3 in front as stop to keep the stack from moving the same issue.

I will need to try that.
3x3’s are nasty to stack.

My concern with that is how to coordinate driving back and pushing things bales off the tines at the same time.
Maybe the first row. Once youve got a stack you dont habe to drive back, only help a little while pushing yourself back

When stacking over 3 high in my barn, pulling out the tines gets dicey. They tend to "stick" to the bales and want to pull the entire stack down. With the hinge you can "push off" without needing hydraulics.
When carrying two at a time, i push the loader down and roll the fork back. This prevents me from pulling the stack over whilst retracting. Which is an issue in maybe 2 out of 10 bales so i never bothered a fancy solution.

Forage traders and contractors have Meijer bale grabs with two prongs at the bottom, and hydraulic hooks above that grab the upper bales, so you can speed over the stubble towards the truck and load each spot to legal height in one movement.

I have tried having the loader push down on the stack. It works until you get up to like 4. After that it always is an issue with pulling the stack down.

Yeah I have seen a lot of different variants from European manufacturers. If the importing for one thing wasn't so expensive I would just buy it there.
