Help with honda brakes

So, I'm replacing the brakes on the rear of a 2000 Honda Accord with rotors/ pads. I have to drive nearly an hour to get there and replace the brakes. I work as a full time truck mechanic and I have to remove tools from my tool box at work to complete the task. I have to replace one rotor, so Im getting one with a lifetime warrenty, and getting good pads as well.

Lifetime warrenty Usually means better parts/ better quality etc

Are their any tool that I will need outside what it usually takes for a brake job? Are the calipers installed with torxs headed bolts or allen head? Thanks

How many miles do you have on that Honda? I had almost 500,000 on my 1988 accord until an old woman hit my son-in-law one winter day up in Valparaiso, IN back in 2006. She drove the left axle into the transaxle. The engine still ran like new but it was going to cost around $3000.00 to fix it. The insurance company just totaled it.

Just Google "2000 Accord rear brakes" and watch the videos. One thing you will really need is an impact driver to remove those Phillips head stove bolts that hold the rotor on.

My nephew was doing his 2003 Accord and could not get the screws out that held the rotors on. He even bought an impact driver for the Phillips head screws.
When he brought it to me for help I took an air chisel with a blunt end and walked the screws out.
You might try a center punch to walk them out if they won't move with phillips bit.
