Help with JD L120 (saftey switch)??

Looking for a parts and repair manual for a JD L120 automatic garden tractor, was mowing lawn, stopped. When I returned wouldn't start. I have been trouble shooting........at my wits end :confused2: I think it maybe a saftey switch.

Any ideas???

I opened the hood, unplugged the wire from the back of the switch, used a small piece of wire to permanently engage that circuit back 8 years ago when I got my L120. Maybe give that a try. From what you've written, I somewhat doubt that switch is the one causing a no start. I don't think it plays a part in shutting down unless you have reverse engaged.

I just ordered the axel/tranny rebuild for mine @ 370hrs.
