Help with L3E engine

I am currently rebuilding my L3E .952l model. I am running into a brick wall with finding parts. The #2 cyl was at 140 psi, so I decided to teardown and check things out. The 1st ring was out of round, see pic


Since this has created an out of round wall, .010. I am looking for .025 over pistons and rings. I know that parts are expensive, but I am looking at almost $200 a piston with rings. So its out $600, and thats kinda steep for my blood.

Does anyone know if I can cross ref from other mitsubishi engines, or warehouse dist to possible get at cheaer price?

I usually use NCW Tractor Parts & Tractor Supply Store - Compact Tractor Parts for parts. They don't list the parts on their site but I'm sure they can quote you a price. $200 for a piston and rings sounds little steep but I've never rebuilt an L3E. I would have guessed about $80-90 on a piston and $50-60 on a set of rings. Pretty sure the L2E, K3C and K4C have a 70mm bore like the L3E but can't confirm that their pistons are all direct replacements to the L3E.
