3-Point Hitch help with my 3 point lift

/ help with my 3 point lift #31
I'm familiar with the rate of drop adjustment. That's the only way to get the TPH to lower. However, once it has been backed off enough to lower the impliment, there is no up without tightening the ROD again. My TPH needs a full rebuild, I just haven't got there yet.

I have adjusted the knob under the front of the seat, the fluid and seals are good. I figured something out, if i try to use the 3-point and move the FEL at the same time it helps a "little" this is another step in the right direction i guess. I have a CROSS front end loader and all oil goes through the loader divider block. thats my next troubleshooting area i guess. It has its own internals, i may try to branch off the hydrolics upstream of this block and install a check valve or something.

Anyone know anything about the CROSS brand joystick divider block "excuse my newbie language". I think it has its own relief valve in it or on it, dont know much about it and cant seem to find anything online about this model exactly.

From what I've seen in catalogs the Cross is a standard monobloc two spool loader control valve. Some have a power-beyond port and others don't. It's not a divider, as far as I know - just a control valve. As such, the fluid goes from the cylinder in use back to the valve and then to the sump in normal use. There is a built-in pressure relief valve that bypasses to the sump when it opens, usually.

If your TPH is fed from a power-beyond port on the loader valve the problem might be an obstruction in the PB port. I'm not sure I really understand how your hydraulics are plumbed, though.

Ok, I think we figured it out. Somebody mentioned earlier that a possible diverter valve could be the problem. I found what i believe is a diverter valve on the CROSS loader control valve. It has an adjustment on it, i adjusted it and adjusted the knob under the front of the seat and the Three Point Hitch works flawless. It was adjusted to send most of the oil to the front end loader i think. I already did a section of the front of the property with the box blade and ripper teeth. It's been great all day, I dont want to jinx myself agian.
Thanks everyone
