Really, we aren't kidding about rustoleum. It thins well with mineral spirits for shooting through a paint gun. Out of the quart can it is very thick. I used their sunburst yellow for the international bulldozer which had been painted cat yellow at some point over the original bright yellow from IH.

JasG,

I guess it all comes down to cost and durability. If you want something that will cost the least and last a couple of years, a product like Rustoleum would work. If you want something to last longer, I woudl absolutely use a product that is two part (with a catalyst). It will last longer, and be more durable.

I want to thank all for your input. I am going to go the Rustoleum route. One thing I have found out is in the great state of NY you can not by oil base products by the gallon, so I may need allot of quarts (I have a dozer and backhoe that will be next). I tell you, I love this area and the people. It just seems like our elected reps sit around all day and think how can we screw our constituents today. Now they want to find a way to tax tree’s. That’s a topic for a different day. Thanks again.
