It looks like a decent plow. I'd say $250 low side, $350 average, to $500 high. solid beams sell for less than trips.

Here's a #66 trip beam plow. #62's a quite a bit lighter too.

so the rear most culterly (disk thingie) swivel's freely, but the front one has this stop thingie that prevents it from rotating any farther toward the first plow than shown.

oh and FWJ weres that thread of the one you rebuilt and was supposed to give a nice detailed discription on setting one up. (im going to need it) ;)

(plus i want to review it for terms before i start asking questions and sound all stupid "the thingie next to the dohicky" )

What you have yourself there is a CHEAP (good job!) #62 Massey 2X14" plow that's in VERY good shape compared to most of what's out there these days. Ya done good!

Measure the width of the plow across the frame (on top) from point A on one beam to point A on the other. I don't have access to my picture file right now or I'd show you. (Throw a tape across the top of the main frame, side to side, until you see 14" and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about)

It doesn't look like there's much of any deep rust on the bottoms. Hit 'em with a wire wheel a bit to clean 'em up, then start plowing! They'll pull harder at first until they scour a bit.

Got yourself a nice plow at a nice price!

I had a nice MF plow that I bought for $175 about 15 years ago in Washington State. My 8N at the time would pull it without any trouble plowing a garden. Sold it for about the same price 5 years later.

In the pic the "crankbar/drawbar" that your 3pt lower links connect to is missing. Hope the seller handed it to you when you loaded up.?.

OK... I was wrong. (And my wife says I can't say that!) The closer pictures reveal a few things. First, that ISN'T the plow I thought it was. Beams are different. In one picture, the one looking down at the rear bottom, you can see a small rectangle "plate" rivited to the beam. (It's covered with paint) I'll bet if you can clean that off a bit, you'll find a name. (Guessing Dearborn now) Coulters don't match, so they might BOTH be from another plow. One is a Dearborn coulter though. You will need that drawbar too. (PM me if you don't have one) No matter what, put a drawbar on and you have a plow that's ready for the dirt at a decent price.

I have the drawbar ;)

I also noticed the coulters didnt match.

I also noticed the plate location yesteday when i got home, but uppon closer inspection i think its missing not just painted over.

Didnt spend to much time going over it, i had to get it off the trailer as i had to load the trailer up for a diffrent project this weekend....
