- 1967 Ford 5000 w/FEL(sold), 1950 Farmall Super A for the wife to drive around (needs fixed) 2024 Kubota B2601 FEL & BH
Okay 2 weeks ago I bought what I thought was a 1975 Ford 5000 FEL tractor
when looking through Posts here saw mention of a tractor with old sheetmetal and noticed mine was pre 68 tin; well...
I am confused by info from multiple sites on import vs domestic
my numbers which are very clear and crisp
51014C
7K20
*B079561 (seems low compared to US serial numbers)
So I deciphered it as;
5000, all purpose, diesel, Ind.540 pto, w/8spd tranny
1967 Oct. 20th (no shift ID?)
*, made in England, sn#079561
Is the "STAR" stamped before the B mean anything?
What differences in imported v/s domestic tractors?
So it looks to be 8 years older than I thought, the last owner showed me model number as 5 = 1975 oh well I will still keep her
Is this correct?
used:
FORD CODES and SERIAL NUMBERS
And
Ford 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 Serial Numbers | Vintage Tractor Engineer
tractordata is more US biased
