OLD....275 DT
Hi All,

I have an L275DT that has been my rock solid buddy for 30 years, and all of a sudden the rear hydraulic lift quit. The bucket operates fine, fluids are good, but the rear lift is dead ads a doornail. I have my York rake rigged up with a come-a-long to the ROPS, but it is getting old...

Any ideas???

Best,

Davis Carver

Install a pressure gage in the system, and that will help you with trouble shooting, and allow you to monitor the hyd system at any time the engine is running.

To check the relief pressure for the FEL valve, activate one of the FEL levers and let the cyl max out. Gage will show tractor relief pressure. Now activate the 3pt and tell us what happens. If the gage shows no or little pressure, as the the fluid goes through the 3pt on it's way to the tank, so either the valve in stuck in neutral, or the relief or safety valve is open. The seals on the piston might be bad.
