Back in court this morning. Before the judge arrived, I was talking to the deputy prosecutor about the neighbor lady being in violation of her pretrial diversion agreement. The neighbor lady got up and came over and told the deputy prosecutor she didn't think it was right that he was talking to me. He informed her he could talk to me, but not to her. She through a little hissy fit. He informed her she had the right to remain silent, and he suggested she do just that! She kept arguing with him. He informed her that he could not talk to her, because she was being prosecuted for a crime, but he could talk to her attorney. He then corrected himself by saying that's right your court appointed attorney passed away. And that she would have to go through the list and pick a new court appointed attorney. She made the statement, "every court appointed attorney I have had in the past sold me out!" She then went and sat down.
Later the judge called her name. He informed her she was in violation of her pretrial diversion agreement. And she needed to correct that as soon as possible! He also told her to pick out another court appointed attorney.
Next court date, August 4th.
So far the neighbor lady has paid $665.00 of the $3,206.66 she owes us. Coming up on three years now!
