I wonder if SA could sell his judgement to a collector.. ?
My wife just finished up her parent's will. She is the executive. She had to sell off a lot of rental homes. One of the homes her parents carried the loan, 7%. She did some checking around on selling the loan. The most she could get for the note was 49% of the overall value of the loan!:shocked::shocked:I wonder if SA could sell his judgement to a collector.. ?
Liens are powerful and easy to get issued... at least they used to be. It wasn't uncommon for home construction subcontractors to routinely put liens against the spec home that they did work on until the general contractor paid them. Not sure how easy it is to do in this case, SA. But I would look into that option.
