I also use a 55 gallon barrel. But to fill it, I take a few portable (2.5 gallon to 5 gallon) containers to the co-op and fill them with diesel. Then dump them into my barrel. Yeah...I know it is an extra step, but taking an afternoon to make a couple runs to the co-op and fill the barrel sets me up for most of the summer. And the right funnel makes that job easier...

IF my furnace oil tank is too low for the hand pump to lift it, then I use a jiggle siphon. I just put a rag on the hood and swing the jerry can (it only has 4 gallons in it) onto the hood and a few strokes with the jiggle siphon and wait. I fill my three jerry cans right after I get a fill up of the HHO.
