I wish my 41 year old 2030 looked that good. I have over 4,000 hours. Yours is not even broke in yet. Enjoy! The mistake I made was paying $4000 to fix it when the HI/LO went out. I should have junked it and bought another tractor.

Divide the cost over the life of that tractor and the cost is nill.

There are actually two lists: regular maintenance and one-off tasks.

Regulagular maintenance:

Cut two acre pasture
Harrow driveways
Move hay
Forest maintenance
Move and spread gravel on driveways

One-off tasks:

Landscape yard
Fill holes in pasture
Build trails around property

I am certain I will find things to use the tractor for that I haven't even thought of yet. One thing is for sure, now that I have a loader, I am retiring my wheelbarrow.

On edit: I should add that we have 22 acres. 2-3 of pasture, 3-4 of pond, and the rest is old growth forest.

Having only 165 hours and having been well cared for is more important than the year the tractor was made. You look to be all set with a good investment. More pictures would be appreciated.

The MX5 is working out very well. I was a bit concerned that it would have some difficulty cutting the bamboo on our property but it cut right through 1.5 inch bamboo like butter. I only have about 6 hours on it so far, but I am definitely pleased with its performance thus far.
