Well I just want to share my excitement with everybody. I got a brand new Grandchild (girl)and a brand new Kioti CK25 the same day. If wasn't for everyone here, I wouldn't have made such a good choice in buying this tractor. To put it all in perspective - it is an 'AWSOME' machine. It turned out better than I thought it would. I will try to post some pics. Thanks for all your help !!

I think the loaders look great. Very much like the New Holland 12LA and 14LA curved arm loaders. I know I love my curved arms and I'm willing to bet that anyone who has the ability to compare, under REAL working conditions, where you spend HOURS behind the wheel of machines so you can compare them, will find the curved arms far superior in visibility to the straight arm loaders.

When I went to buy my TC24D last year, I tried to look at Kioti but there was no dealer within any reasonable distance. JD, NH, CC, and Kubota are all within 8 miles. Increase the range to 50 miles and several JD, NH, CC and Kubota dealers exist, but no Kioti. So I didn't feel comfortable buying, but the specs sure look nice and so do the pictures.

I think there is a real possibility that in a couple years there will be the "big 4" with Kioti joining the ranks of the "big 3" if they keep building their dealer network and their reputation.

Wish that I knew that tractor was there, I would have been over this weekend in a flash, as I have a cottage on Cape John. I had a CK20HST at my house the other night to try out. I (don't anyone take offense, Please) was not happy with the lack of power transmitted to the ground. Other than that, I think I would have bought it right there and then. I sent you a private message as well Kevin.

I'm not taking offense, but I'd sure like to understand that statement better. I have no problem with mine. How much power to the ground are you expecting? What were you doing with the tractor to judge the power by? Did you try it in both ranges, with and without 4wd turned on? Elaborate a little please, as I'm surprised by this statement having had my CK20HST for 180 hours. John

How were you using the tranny? Were you pushing it hard? If you were, and started to lose a little power and slow down, did you push farther down on the pedal to try and make it go faster? Under simple driving conditions, it will go faster but more power to the ground will be lost. When going under load, press lightly on the pedal to put more power to the ground, otherwise power loss will be great and you could possibly stall the engine. I hope I made sense. I think we each have our own needs. I just spent 3 hours on a 30hp Kubota B2910 moving dirt back into place and pretty much the whole time I wished I had more power. But then again, I will be finishing the job with a smaller NH TC24D because of the fact that I have to get into some tight places with the loader and spinning the B2910 around in the space I was working was pretty tough, especially with the 60" front bucket. Sometime smaller is better, sometime bigger is.

I know this may not be a fair comparison but it was the closest I could come to comparing what my geared Kubota would do to the Kioti. I loaded the bucket (with soil, Kubota and Kioti buckets both very similar in size and my tiller on the back of both) and tried to climb a 35-45 degree slope. Kioti just bypassed no matter how light I pushed the pedal. Kubota crawled up. I do a lot of pulling and pushing with my tractor whether with my little root rake or loaded wagon and this is what I mean by power to the ground. Hope it explains a little of what I'm saying. Got to get to work. Any more questions I can start another thread so I'm not hijacking Kevin's thread.
