I'm sorry, but is this some sort of a joke?
I can see one of these type trucks as a gimmick to get people to stop in, but he has 16 of them! Either a group of people won powerball last month, or the economy MUST be booming in TN. With the country in $20 Trillion debt, and the average american family unable to come up with $1,000 emergency money for a broken tooth or AC failure, I simply cannot fathom how this kind of money gets spent on a play truck unless one is exorbitantly wealthy.
How many of those trucks are paid for with a check? I bet most are financed for 10 years...

Don't get me wrong - I love nice trucks too and would enjoy owning one of those if I could afford it, but unless I can buy a vehicle pretty much with cash, it is not a vehicle for me. In my opinion, only homes and some business loans are worthwhile debt instruments. I had a car note while younger, but have worked hard, saved, and now transacted without debt for most of my adult life. We don't live like kings, but I sleep well at night.
Needs and wants - If we figure that out, life gets easier in my opinion. For me I try to, "Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without..."
Peace all! (And if anyone wants to buy me one of those trucks with all their spare cash, please feel free.) I'll turn around and sell it and invest the money.
