The yellow hand held fly zapper that looks like a tennis racket is great fun! Can light up a dark room sometimes. I own several (and have broke several). But at 2 or 2.99 on sale, well worth it.

Forgot about that. I bought a few of them and gave them away, except for the one we kept. Two years later, it's still working and killing bugs. The kids love it, so they will spend hours killing them. Good quality family fun.

Try the square extendable bug zapper -- works like charm on walls and windows:D

Heh heh, those electric tennis rackets do a fine job on a roach scooting across the floor too, very satisfying pop/crackle:D Beats stomping them with the resultant splat to clean up.

The electrical tape- hows it hold up long term? I've gotten burned so many times buying "cheap" electrical tape that later gets all gooey and comes off I haven't bought anything except Scotch 33 for years. Not opposed to saving some bucks if its good, but if it doesn't hold up I don't want it even if its free.

I like the movers blankets. Great for all sorts of things, throwing over the backseat when you have a dirty dog, laying on under the car, and even the actual intended use.

I like the Adirondack style chairs too, just weatherseal them when first assembled. Get em on sale pretty cheap.

Funnels assortment, on sale right now for 99 cents, a bargain.

Have a bunch of those black canvas toolbags, great for all sorts of stuff.

Really like the below canvas buckets, heavy construction and very useful. Great for throwing miscellaneous tools/stuff in and toting it somewhere... http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=94320

Skyco,
As for the tape I have allot of it stockpiled. They don't get gooey at all from my use.I keep them stored in a cool place tho. Int he winter its a bit still and not to sticky but a few ,minutes on a light bulb or stuffed in my pants and its easier to use.
I have appreciation for the better quality tape, but for many things this tape works well At this price I don't mind using a whole roll at a time.

Guys, what are nitrile gloves? Are they for some specific application?

Similar to latex surgical gloves, but polymer based instead of latex based, I believe used more frequently due to latex allergies.

please dot tell us what you put in the pants to warm up :D ( ahh just kidding ya)

I have been buying stuff from them for years.

I had good and bad stuff there, keep a tarp or two around just in case, cheap enough, used them under the trailer when I painted the deck under side... that got messy fast !

12Vdc rechargeable florescent work light nice magnet, works well. does not hold charge for more than a month or so, but stays on (light up) long enough when needed.

Heat gun seems good (on sale now) guys at work have several of them.

the small micro torch butane probably the best 4.99 I ever spent! best thing in world for brake bleeders and lines & tight quarters work where you need some high heat!

I think I have 6 or 8 of the multi-meters, easier to have that 3.99 job laying about when ya need it in the shop than walk over to the tool shed... :)

I also have the 12" slide compound miter saw with laser. works well not most powerful but cuts accurately and clean/safe.

We keep several of the 20 buck 4.5" grinders about as well works well enough as long as you go easy on them & dont attempt to grind off 1/2" of 7018 in a half second...

recently picked up some of the newer style ratchets & socket combo units, not impressed with the ratchets, sockets seem well made though.

also picked up a small 4 drawer roll around tool caddy, pretty good, for 86 bucks.

have small oil less 2 gallon compressor, it is kind of sorry running & slow. works for running small nailer/stapler I wanted for some trim work I also got the nailer stapler which is OK, the little compressor was just for the basement hobbies stuff and does that but only barely..
I have the larger 99 buck 10 gallon oil bath unit works well enough for the shed.

have a framing air nailer 22 degree works well, even run from the small shed compressor.

tried the roofing coil nailer, took it back was a dud. kept bending the nail heads & tearing the shingles...

I have the chain saw sharpener but have not yet used it, bought it this past fall but still use the files on an *** needed basis. I have 3 or 4 chains that need the sharpener though just waiting for some free time...
New electric stapler (T50 type) not yet tried out.

Like I said I been buying stuff there for years, bought a bunch of stuff for only one or two jobs that paid for the tool and usually still have the tool well afterwards.. Ball joint/ tie rod separaters, punches, grinding disks, number sets ect. lots of little things, plastic bins and cases all usually do what I want them to do...
also picked up new auto darking welding helmet, seems to have slight glitch when striking an arch in bright light it does not turn off very well, or if you lift up the helmet it turns on when the shop light gets into it...

Most things I like well enough and if I dont I will often take them back... In the market for a long 100' drain cleaner, used the "TURBO" drain cleaner this weekend worked well enough but had to run a snake first and pressure balloon type unit, then followed up with the tornado as a final deeper cleaner on the floor drain...

I'm surprised on the roofing nailer. I got one from HF for just under 100 dollars. its been dropped many time have run approx 4 or 5 boxes of nails through it(a few roofs).I did bust off the hinge that hold the plastic nail caddy . but it runs fine without. Sounds like you had a one time bum one
