hi all, I\'m kind of a newbie here...

I've been browsing for some time (about 1 1/2 yrs.) And i'm now ready to take a plunge since the Ford 850 tlb went pretty well kaput on me. Seems now is the time with the financing and what not. But I have to admit, I'm kinda confused and the more I read the more i'm getting confused!
Here's what I'm looking for... In this order of importance. 1 25ish PTO hp. 2 low gearing, like 1/4 mph gearing(really slow and gears are fine , hst is not a priority)3. dual remotes 4 tooth bar 5 backhoe (and a beefy bulletproof unit at that) but i'm willing to take off a few bolts here and there to get it on the subframe however, I would like reasonable access to the 3pt when needed. 6 nasty loader with no clearance issues. 7 Ind. tires (filled not needed).
I'll work with my other issues but I need all this for under $420 mo for 6 yrs. ($1000) down.
The reason I'm confused is that I'm reading that It may be a more sound investment to get the bolt ons from bh and woods from the get go. Is this true?
Lastly, Since I live in CT and this isn't the best market to buy new from, How feasable is it to go outside the NE to get it . Seems like it would be cheaper to buy elsewhere and have it shipped here? If thats cheaper, what do I do when warranty and service issues arise? I'm not into a huge hassle of arguing with local dealers on this! A very special thanks in advance. PS. I'd like the 45 with a backhoe but I think that would tip me over the price barrier, no? Hi and welcome to membership in the forum.
I'm not sure I understood the bolt on bh and Woods comment.
Woods makes good loaders and backhoes if that's what you're talking about, but there's nothing wrong with Kioti backhoes and loaders, just differences. Woods' BH has better clearance, and the subframe stay on the tractor. Easy to get off and use the 3pt.

I think you might just be in the running for the DK45 with those figures, or certainly very close. I would, however, suggest you sell off anything you don't really need and put down a little more. After all, you want the tractor probably more than stuff you're not really using, right?

What is a "nasty loader with no clearance issues?"

For a serious loader, you might also look at Branson's offerings.

Not going to get much more of a "serious" loader than the KL451 on the DK45S...

i'd recommend working with a local dealer - prices for tractors in NE are notoriously high (regardless of brand); with the price of transporting now, the difference in price may be minor.

i think you'd be better off paying a slightly higher price to establish a relationship with a local dealer..
