Wow that's pretty in believable. Does it burn more oil than fuel? The thousand series fords were defiantly some of the best tractor built

i have seen several 5000 and 6000 deeres with over 15000 hrs.

A guy down the road from us has a Deere, I think it's a 6415, 6 or 7 years old with almost 10,000 hours on it. As far as I know all they've done to the motor was a water pump two weeks ago.

we tend to obsess on oil and oil filters, but it's the air filter that needs to be clean to keep the engine alive for decades. Not that oil should be ignored! But dirt is high is silica and that is going to wear the rings and cylinder quick.
