hilling potatoes

finally got around to hilling the taters. i think i would like to hit them again in 2-3 weeks. do you guys hill once or twice?

I usually hill the first time fairly early, then in 2-3 weeks I side dress them lightly with 10-10-10 and hill them again. I keep them watered well and sometimes hill one more time depending how they're blooming and whether the tops are starting to turn.

I usually hill 2-3 times and each time I add composted manure to the hill.

Works for me.
