I like your valid points, and the two sided coin. I am completing my 30x36, 14 foot eves pole building, that has taken far too long. But on the flip side, I spend my break times looking over photos of my past struggles, overcomers, and accomplishments. There is a depth and confidence I would not have gained otherwise. Not to mention that I paid cash along the way vs second mortgage.

Too, I think of it as working another trade. If everything hit the fan I could work as a handyman.
