Actually.. those are just regular top cover remote valves.. but yeah.. if they are detent valves.. and were kicked open.. your hyd pressure was dumping thru the relief valve.
Normally there would be a blank plate there.. but as yours has.. there can be a spool valve.. selector valve.. etc.. depending on the model.. etc.
