hitch pulsates

new tractor guy here
went to hook up the chipper this morning and noticed when i raised the 3ph it would pulsate every few seconds, never did that before. figured it would smooth out with some weight on it. didn't happen. i can still see the hoses flexing

I'm going to guess that you see that at a very low idle engine RPM... That is normal as the hydraulic pump is rated at full PTO RPM. KennyV

Your seal is beginning to fail in your three point hitch. On my tractor, I can ajust the flow to it and make it a little better, but it's still there. I know it's just a matter of time until I have to pull it apart and fix it, but then that might be years from now and I'm in no rush to deal with it.
