Holiday Winner

My wife and I attended our company's Christmas party last Friday evening. The bad news is we didn't win the DVD player or any of the digital cameras, the good news is my wife's name was drawn for a 16 piece, 4 place setting John Deere china set. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif The dinner plates are so large that they barely fit in the dishwasher and we had to clear another cupboard out to make room to put them away.

The other down side is she told me that this is as close as I'm getting to a tractor for Christmas /w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif.

My wife received a Christmas present today from one of her brothers. It's a set of cannisters (you know, the kind with different sizes for flour, sugar, coffee, etc.) and each one has a picture of a John Deere tractor on it. I think he knew darned well when he bought them that they had the wrong color tractor on them./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
