That's why I made sure to point out that I understand his experience isn't the norm, and I wasn't acting on rationality but emotion. I absolutely understand all manufacturers have their lemons.

The other failures like 2 tractor splits would be concerning to me at the low number of hours when they were posted to have happened.

Was just responding to your comment about Kubota quality declining. I don’t know if there’s evidence to support that statement.

I think you were backing up at full speed and ran into a tree with your hoe or were driving forward without the pin in and the hoe leaked down and caught a stump while driving forward at speed.

Would backing into something and catching it on something be opposites? I’d think backing is the one that did it.

Reminds me of the building under construction in Thailand that collapsed. Videos show the Chinese fake rebar being broken in half BY HAND ! Like breaking sticks for a bonfire. A word to the wise ....

Dont you think i'd notice if i backed up in to something? My head would fly off from the force of the impact which can crack the boom? Don't you think if it was backing in to something, first the cylinder with the hose would be damaged? Dont you think if it was backed up in to something the damage would be on the lower portion of the boom, not the upper?
