When we had 270 plus days without sunspots last year, the solar scientists we saying that the sun wasn't following their models. DUH!

They were correct. Sunspot activity did not follow their predictions.:thumbsup:

No I don't think Al lied to you, but I think the "Spin Doctor" that changed "Climinate Change" to "Global Warming" lied to you and others. Climinate change is here. California last week got twenty five (25) inches of rain. It is not unusual to get rainfalls in excess of 5-6 inches now. The norm used to be one (1) inch. If you currently live near a stream or river my advise would be to purchase "Flood Insurance". Look at the temperatures in Florida, very nice. A large percentage of income in Florida depends on tourism. I Don't think "Snow Birders" are going to "Go South To Florida" when it is colder than where they are living. The summer of 2010 in my area was the hottest on record. So far this winter, 2010 is starting out to be the coldest on record. Electrical bills for AC last summer were unbelieveable. I am looking for heating oil, natural and propane gas bills to be extremely high this winter. Gas prices at the pumps are up because of the pressure fuel oil is placing on what is being made from a barrel of crude. I don't think we are being good stewards of what our forefathers worked to achieve and leave. I wonder what children of today, those who are currently 5-6 years old will say about us when they are in their 30's-40's. I also wonder what those who are denying the existance of climinate change are going to say to these children who are now adults faced with the damage caused by our years of abusing the environment.

If you check the historical records, first it was "global cooling" when they could not sell that, it was changed to "global warming" when that was not panning out, it was changed to "climate change". Which of course is perfect, because they are "right" no matter what happens. Unless you consider the fact that before there was "climate change", the climate has always changed.
