I was asked to start a new thread for this project to be sure people might see it is a new project.
You can see a series of pics as I took my walk behind snowblower and converted it into a riding doodlebug /tractor . The blade will come off for the summer and just use it to putter around with the grandson. I have 9 garden tractors and I now I am going to count this one as number 10
The latest progress picture shows the front fenders on and side covers and a hood over the engine . Also duel exhaust because I know chicks like those
You can also see today I started building two storage boxes on each side of the seat.

So, it looks like the back part you can hook up to anything, and it's like a trailer/surrey to pull around a passenger. Then when you hook it up to the snow blower, you have a front drive articulating tractor. I just love this latest project of yours!

Thanks ,
Yes , the rear can be hooked behind my garden tractors for my grandson to ride on . I would not have the rear section hooked on for plowing snow either. I will remove the blade for summer and just putter around the yard looking cool:laughing:
Today I worked on the front of the hood and boxed it in and remounted the headlights inside . This should increase my top speed
I also attached the exhaust stacks and made a little hood ornament :confused2:aaahood.jpg

Cool project! How much does the back half weigh?

How do you steer it?

Thanks ,
The back weighs around 100 lbs. Then add my weight on the seat at another 100 lbs,
Just move the handlebars side to side to steer it. Kinda crude but should be fun to ride around a tractor show on it.
Today I am grinding the welds and applying body filler to the welded seams. aaabondohood.jpg

aaapaint.jpgTodays progress picture shows it now green . After a few days I will sand and buff out the paint . then I will paint a yellow stripe on the side . It is slowly taking shape. You can see the t-handle and the steering wheel for my little grandson . They can be removed when hooking up both units together.
