Home made septic systems.

im replacing the 50gal drum my worker cabin came with.NASTY.

If you have enough land, I would be inclined to just abandon the old substandard system and start all over.

In my neighborhood, they put sewers in about 50 years ago, and almost everyone has an abandoned cesspool somewhere on their property. Every so often someone does an addition and hits the old cesspool. They are really a lot nicer after half a century of disuse, no problems at all.

Heck ya! Went to town and got a 1200gal septic tank, infiltrators, and works.Having to work on a drum every few years is like walking in circles.

can't wait to fire up the l48 and get to work after i get done hauling cars to the crusher and digging for some neighbors.

In Forks Of Salmon there are no municipalities or electricity and half don't have phones. If using a plastic tank make sure its full of water before you bury it so the walls don't collapse or become weakened. Tank and all was round $1500. Not bad for a piece of mind and well always have the out*****. which i prefer anyway
