I have whats called a jpeg2000 standalone. You can do a little looking around on a home security forum just like people do on here for tractor info. OR what i did was call a company in for an detailed estimate. They even give you model numbers of the device, cameras, and how much cable you may need. Then once you have that info and are a little handy around the house you are home free. They pretty much give you a shopping list. They wanted 1,800 bucks for 4 cameras and the install. I already bought the standalone system. So I didn't feel bad about not hiring them.
