I have a 15 gal tank with a dang good pump from lowes, it mounts in my riding lawnmowers pull behind cart. It came with a wand, but I quickly realized that it wok ist wasn't going to cut it with my large yard. I went to Tractor Supply and bought two 140 degree boom nozzles, along with the little filters and nozzle housings. Dont forget the metal mounts for the housings as well, i bought ones that slip over pipes with a screw to tighten on one side. The staff there was knowledgable so don't be afraid to ask around. I then bought about 15ft of 1/2 ID tubing from lowes, as well as a couple plastic T splitters to send the tube from my pump out to both of my nozzles. Also, I bought one long piece of PVC pipe, small diameter, not sure of the size, though it's not going to matter as long as you can fit the clamps on. I took this all home, built my sprayer housings, attached them to the PVC pipe with the clamps, about 5 ft apart, then used sheet metal screws to attach it to the lowest point on the rear of my cart. I used this boom to spray my entire yard with weed killer, it is all officially dead. Very proud of my little "invention." give it a try!!! All in all about $50.00.

How big is your yard? I just bought one of the TSC pull behinds noted earlier, but plan on mounting on my carry all instead of the wheels it came with. I am doing about 3 acres, was just wondering how many times I would have to refill the 25 gallon tank.

I have a 13,000 sq ft front yard, about an acre in the back. I did it all with just one spray nozzle mounted on the center, though for larger I would definitely recommend the whole boom. I can do my front yard on about 1 1/2 tanks with a ten gallon tank. Just make sure it's not windy like here in DE, I basically wasted a tank one day when windy.... Good luck!
