Homemade Chainsaw Carrier - Yet another idea

Dose anyone's saw leak chain oil when stored with the bar in the down position ?

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that neither of my Stihls leak bar oil when stored overnight in the vertical scabbards of my saw carrier.

Yes, some. But I also had leakage from horizontal storage in tool box on another tractor. Thermocycling?, vibration? Or residual? Never has drained the oil tank. Does make a mess. A little bar oil goes a long ways.

I've been storing mine vertical , bar tip up , woth 0 leaking .
