Awesome project and awesome job man! I love the v blocks made out of wood. Those are sweet. I hope you don't mind, but I might just have to steal your design. Lol!

Not tractor related but I am happy with the result so I thought I'd share. I'm a novice welder/fabricator and this is the biggest thing Ive built from scratch so go easy on me.:drink:

You could have fooled me with the novice part! Real nice!

Is that your timberframe I see in the rear window reflection on your 2nd post?

Thanks. Definitely a novice.
Please feel free to borrow. I'd be honored... But post it here. :drink:

I was thinking the same thing...
Y'all don't miss a thing. That barn was built with my house CIRCA 1780. The road I live on or originally came to my property. The roads runs in between house and barn so the property was split off sometime in the 1800s.

The owner decided to tear it down and sell it to rich people from Mass rather than do needed repairs. I could not afford to move it and he wouldn't sell the land. It's a sore spot. It's almost completely disassembled now but was incredibly picturesque. View attachment 474181

That's real nice Luke. After many years of building "conventional" framing, I'd love to try a timber frame.

The two top caps are both 18"x16"x24ft of old growth oak. Can't do that now.

I can't even imagine raising them with oxen.
