Yes, Ray, we don't have a lot of flat ground around here!
My driveway's pretty steep; I started out using the BH for ballast, but found that the front became so light going uphill that the tractor just veered off to the side, following the crown, no matter where the front wheels were pointed.
I'd have to make multiple corrections --lift blower, back up, re-center, drive forward-- to finally get up to the top; going down was no problem, and a few times I even went so far as to just drive it back up to the top over the path I finally created and only blow snow going downhill.
Once I removed the BH, however, it worked well... except for ice! Here's a decent view of the driveway. There's a rise of about 25' going up to the dirt road; I've paved the driveway since this pic was taken.
