Actually, there will be in the next few days. I recently purchased a larger mig welder so I can get this thing finished, it is spring already and I need it now!

My version of one, about 300 bucks and 2 days invested, if you can't pull it then close the forks and dig it up or just latch onto the tree close to the frame and break it off. Also use it to pick things up and pull down low hanging branches. My thought behind this was to make something that is tough and keep me from getting out of the cab and hooking a chain onto what I wanted to move or pull

Thanks, it seems the lazier I get the more creative I am, LOL
My Wife is always on me about building and selling things I make for myself, but I'm to lazy for that, LOL

Very unique idea. Not sure how big your tractor is?? From the picture I'd say you can get by. Weakest point is going to bending the forks. A Puller puts tremendous forces in play that those forks aren't built for. Hopefully it'll hold up for you. Next to my Grapple, my Puller is my favorite attachment. This Spring I removed 1/4 mile of barbed wire fence and pulled every post from the seat of the Bobcat. :)

Overszd, thanks for commenting
50 horse cab TYM, and this is forks and cylinders off an old Toyota forklift, I have a Mott 88 Flail mower (1200lbs) attached and just using the very tips of the forks I can still lift the back tires off the ground., The weakest point is actually the frame, I bent it when I first tried it out, straighten it back and reinforced it with 3X3X1/2" angle iron, now it's a mule.

I actually prefer the puller over my grapple, LOL, I tried to use for any and everything I can, just so I don't have to get out of the air conditioned cab, LOL

My next thing to do with it is put a pressure gauge on and try to figure out at the different positions on the forks how much force i'm putting out.

I'd like to have one of these! Have tried the Brush Grubber on my pallet forks, but that's a 50/50 proposition on most trees without the hydraulic clamp.

My loader will lift 1400 lbs at the pivot point -- and I'm afraid a 500 lb attachment isn't going to leave much lift capacity for a tree. Any thoughts?

Wow, that thing weighs 500#?

You will probably be pushing the tree over before you actually lift it, and I'd imagine the tree you would be be lifting with that unit won't weight anywhere near 1000#.

Most of the time it depends on the tree's root system, I can't pluck a 3" Chinese talon straight out without pushing it over or digging up some of the roots, especially in this hard pack clay where I live, a sandy area would be no problem.

Just my 2 cents,lol
