I have turf tires on my 422 and I have no problem plowing snow on my gravel driveway as long as it is level or down hill slope. Now if I try to push much wet snow while plowing uphill I sometimes have some trouble, but another thing that makes me have problems is that I added 18 inches width onto my 5 foot snow plow so I could also use it on my 1845 Power Trac as well. I have driven my 422 power in snow up to about 6 inches deep not plowing without problems. I believe the turf tires are better in snow than the bar tires which I have on my 1845 in most cases.
