Honda Ridgeline Truck

I saw an article on this truck. What I like is the few packages you can buy instead of 11 trim lines. GM, Ford and the others need to realize that 2-3 trim options keep costs down.

Our two Dodges have similar hooks. They are too low in the bed... How do you have a bed full of "stuff" and still reach those? I find it hard to secure loads with only four restraint points. It is also hard to throw hitches and knots on those cleats when you can not reach them or they are crowded by your load.

It is surely something that is the same to all pickups. You can add various aftermarket stuff. But, when you pay the prices for pickups these days, at least it should have a way to securley tie off a load.

I see so many dangerous loads out there on the road. I see some pretty hokey attempts, honest but hokey, to secure loads by running ropes down the bed, around the frame ect.

When we got our '01 and '04 Dodges, I sent a note to Dodge about that... These engineers should have to load the trucks and pass a safety inspection before they can release the final version.

At least a few of the manufacturers are trying these days...

<font color="green">It's no wonder there's so much junk on the sides of the road outa pickups; even if a person wanted to they cant secure a load properly. </font>

This weekend someone lost a couch on Interstate 44 and 3 people were killed and 2 children left without parents because the SUV flipped trying to avoid it.
Well the police are looking for who that couch belongs too.

Scary to think that moving a couch killed a person and now the owner will either end up in jail or broke from being sued..

With it's tiny 5' box, low towing capability, I don't see how it could even be considered falling into the full-size category.
