Yup I have a clevis pin doing permanent residence in my draw bar. If I need my Ballast drum I put a cable sling through it and wrap the drum so the loop is on the other side

The chain hook puts a lot of load on a small area and you might bend some steel you'd rather have flat. When the bar is in there the load is spread out over a larger area through the bolts or pins.

Thanks! There's holes all over my tractors for some of these (lift arms and front weight mount to assist with chaining down), stake pockets on trailer, etc. Good job.ronjhall said:It's $14.99 at Northern tool.
