JD 1026R
I have a new 1026R with an iMatch hitch (also H120 FEL, Ballast Box, 54" QH front blade and 60D auto connect MMM). Wish we had more snow, but love it so far and quite the machine compared to my old JD LT180 lawn tractor/mower.

I have a JD 10P poly cart with its clevis pin hitch that I used with my old tractor and I was planning to attach it to the 1026R via the hitch plate that is under the rear PTO. Problem is the iMatch hitch, even with the 3 pt hitch as high up as it will go, hits the top of the cart and the cart tongue is not long enough to reach the hitch plate.

So, I want to get a Heavy Hitch to use on the iMatch and then use a 2" receiver hitch to use a clevis style connection for the 10P cart. I've seen a "Clevis & Ball" 2" receiver hitch in the JD implement catalog, right under the JD iMatch reciever hitch, but there isn't a part number listed. I've searched jdparts.com as well as the internet in general and have not found out the part # or price. I think it would be ideal as it would also allow me to rent a log splitter and pull it around the year with the 1026R via the ball hitch.

Can anyone help me find the part #/price? and/or other alternatives.

Drop one of these drawbars into the iMatch:

Allot of manufactures make 2" receiver hitches. They can be had for as little as 80$. Check out this thread, there are a few mentioned there and many others on the market.

Nuke 'em
:welcome:

The "hitch plate" is the drawbar. Then there is the 3 ph drawbar "bcp" shows.
Just sayin so others know what item you are referring to here as the "hitch plate". ;)

The 3 ph drawbar should solve your problem.

A search on TBN may give you some good pics of the products available as mentioned by "Jordan"

The horizontal drawbar pictured above with the addition of the quick hitch bushings would be the easiest way to connect your clevis type trailer. You might need to load the trailer heavy to the front though. Last time I did this I hung two suitcase weights on the front of the trailer to increase the tongue weight.

A little late but I just saw your post, I have the Hitch/clevis adapter from JD, it was hard to find for my Sales rep as it is not made by JD & as you saw there is no part number in the accessory catalogs, but it is made for them by FEMCO, I could not find my invoice, but I still had the box in the garage, the JD part # looks like LD25002 & the FEMCO # is 193111, it had to be special ordered from FEMCO by Altantic Tractor, it was not cheap either, I think it was around $80.00 for the adapter & $26.00 shipping as it is a non stocked item. I have not seen any other adapter quite like it, & it is very useful & nice not to have to have two different hitch adapters to change from ball to clevis hitches, so I feel it was worth the price. But have your JD rep research the part number just to be sure.

I have to dissagree with using a hitch adaptor for a small clevis trailer arrangement over a simple horizontal drawbar. If you have to go over any dips or terrace rows the simple drawbar will rotate or twist in the IMatch mounts which is what you need it to do for a clevis hitch trailer or cart. While it is desirable to stop this rotation and is necessary on a ball mount this is undesireable for the clevis hitch.

You also don't wan't to extend the hitch point farther behind the tractor than necessary either as this reduces your tongue weight capacity.
