Hello Tractor Pros!
I just got a used JD CX 20 Shredder, which has three hydraulic hoses, each going to a single action cylinder. These run: one for each wing (up hydraulic, and down by gravity, I assume); it has one for the height control on the center unit (also single action, with only one hose).
My problem is that my JD 6615 has only 2 SCVs.
What is my best option, assuming I want to run the wings independently? Alternatively, how would I get both hoses for the wings connected to one SCV control, if I have to run them together? Should I attach the hose to the upper or lower SCV quick connect; does it matter?
I do have a loader on the front, which has its own hydraulics, and the CX 20 is pull type, of course, so the three point/rockshaft control is available, but how to connect there?
Should I run a hose from the loader, when I am shredding, to get that independent action? How would I get the loader control to "float"?
Any input is appreciated; I am new to this site, so please forgive my ignorance or any breach of etiquette.

Check with your Deere dealer for a kit to add SCV's to your JD 6615. That would be the best if such a kit is available.

You can get a kit installed or make a splitter. Using one scv and Y it for 2 hoses to run. Don’t need tons of pressure so this will work to raise wings together. I’ve done it before may take a bit to raise but it will work

Ditto on attaching wing cylinder hoses together with a "Y" or tee. One could also utilize a Fasse valve similar to photo below

You have removed the loader when shredding, I would run hoses to the loader hookup. For float, push the joystick forward, it should go a little more into float.

The CX20 shares parts with the HX20.
CX20 has individual cylinder control and the 3-port control valve is shown in the Parts Catalogue which allows separate Wing & Lift control:

The HX 20 has the Wing Cyl'rs 'Teed' as suggested above. The T-connector is shown as Part #38H1205 (Item #5)

T the wings together. No need for them to be independent that I have found enough to justify adding an scv. On the scv covers, plug it in the one that shows the cylinder extending. I think it's the bottom one on mine. When shredding, leave the wings in the float position so it'll follow the land better and you'll get a great cut.
