HorsePower Question

   / HorsePower Question #21
Bob, I really do think we are both on the same page. I think we were both posting at the same time so it was one of those very odd situations. I did initially buy the tractor just for tilling. I talked myself into the FEL at the last minute. Now I use the FEL for about 75% of what I do. Last year I bought a BCS and tilled an acre by hand. NO FUN ! I really went with this machine solely due to weight as I trailer it about 1500 miles each month. It has its limitations but it sure beats manual labor. I do not mow at all now but I will in the future. I expect the 2210 is a fine mowing machine. I am pretty impressed with the turning radius. I looked at the X series and if you load one uop with a rear PTO and 3pth it is actually more for less. It really does depend on ones needs. For the person who needs to mostly mow and just wants to till for a small garden they would probably be the cadillac of tractors. They are nice. I do think if the 2210 sells as well as anticipated we can expect to see some streamlineing in the JD line up, but thats just my wild guess. Kindest Regards, Dave
