Hot Tub Experiences?

Buppies, I have the Frog system too. super convenient, much cheaper buying cartridges online.
But even with the bromine level testing on the low side of acceptable, my bathing suit the next day still smells
"chemically". Not as bad as chlorine, and I think the bromine is less harsh on the skin. But I usually have to take a shower afterwards to get it
off my skin.

Are there salt water systems available like in swimming pools? They are much easier on the skin. I'd love a hot tub these days.

The bromine is less harsh on you and the tub much better than the system we used with our last tub

I seem to be allergic to bromine sadly. So do a test if you can before you try one chemical over another. I get a wicked rash when I sit in a bromine tub for some reason. Chlorine, no problem except it smells a bit.

My wife is allergic to bromine, skin develops rash and itch. We switched to PristineBlue 2 years ago and are very happy. The chemicals seem easier to manage, but we rinse the filter more often than with bromine.

Chlorine hard on swimming trunks but like you and bromine I am allergic to it rapid sneezing eye watering etc

ok, under hot tub experiences....try not to invite guests who have been to the beach with their swimwear and then use your hot tub without washing out their
suits, leaving all kinds of sand at the bottom of my small three person hot tub. Very hard to get out...
Good reason for going all natural.

Hot tubs are like new girlfriends. .. For the first 6 months your in them every night, after that, it's a few times a week, then after a couple years you want to see what's on TV first.
