Looks great Eddie, the sweat equity is surely paying off. I saw those washer/dryer today at Lowes and the pedestals are nice but at $250 a piece, that's crazy. Some older folks like the height though due to the front loaders.

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Eddie, the good son, and his Mom & Dad....it doesn't get better than you all doing this together....Just a thought Eddie...When I built our house I surprise my wife with a Chandelier in the laundry room...I was in Loews one day toward the end of our build and we had not decided on lighting in the laundry room...I saw a really neat chandelier on sale and bought it and surprised her....She gets more comments on having a Chandelier in her laundry room...Just a thought...it gives plenty of light....you could surprise your mom...

You have done a great job....you should be really happy ...so if you're not then you should be....;)

I created a laundry room for a client from a storage area in their garage. She found two chandeliers on Craigslist that she wanted to use because of pictures she had seen on Pinterest.

Eddie,

It looks awesome. As hard working as you are, it's obvious where you go that from!! Your parents are real hard workers!!

I built some shelves in the pantry for my Mom. They still need to be sanded and painted, but the basics are all done.

Eddie, I really like it that the lower shelves are deeper. That allows more stuff on those shelves where you can easily get to the back. I also like that you put blocking behind your shelf supports to spread the weight beyond the "L" bracket. Does your mom/dad have one of those 2-step stools like this one? I have one with a curved handle top that's padded and we love it. It folds away behind a door nicely.
