Re: How痴 Eddie?
I can agree with that .... but the real question is: if such a person existed what incentive would they have to run for office?
Their life is likely to be shredded, every decision and statement they make will be dissected and spun to suite whatever agenda the reporting organization has, and play ground politics (complete with name calling) seems to be the order of the day .... and based on what entertainment is popularly viewed it'd seem what many desire.
Toss in how many people seem to want a leader to solve all of their problems and it'd seem like an impossible task in toxic work conditions ...and I don't see that changing any time soon as too many are too focused on screaming, name calling and just fighting each other in general rather than taking responsibility for their own actions. Change and the acceptance of it always start at the individual, and it must be appropriate for the (local/immediate) situation otherwise it's pretty pointless and futile. Perhaps others have seen it, but I can't recall seeing a case where anyone has happily accepted changes that were forced upon them (especially if the reasons for the change were never explained).
...but then that might just be my perception which admittedly may not be worth the :2cents: :confused3:
Oh I think a strong, positive leader with a message of TRUE unity, could take this country to places of grandeur.
