I thought about trying some when I wormed the horses last fall, but decided against it since the horses attempt to avoid it so much.

It is in the dogs heartworm tablets.

Re: How痴 Eddie?

We are definitely getting a lot of Californians moving here. It's good for the economy here, but horrible for how congested our roads have become.

Right now, a good friend, who is easily one of the very top Akita show people in the world, is in Tennessee looking for a place to move to from California. Hearing what they pay to live there in taxes and electracy, in Gilroy, is just crazy!!! Then they have to deal with fires and evacuations the last two years, along with the power being turned off all the time, is even crazier!!! Two other Akita show friends have recently moved to the Nashville area already. I'm starting to wonder what's going in in Tennessee?

Several Specialty Medical Providers such as Anesthesia Machines packed up lock, stock and barrel and are now doing business in Tennessee...

Also have invites and seen pictures... one has a very stately home bought after selling their very nice owner builder home with a few acres here...

Someone asked me why do I think so many entertain moving... several things pop into mind... congestion, rules and regs... owning a little more land that would not be possible here... for business its the high cost of repeated business interruptions... etc. such as the wave of homeowner and business insurance cancellations going out now... I've thought about being self insured for fire and just carrying a liability policy...

I've told your story many times... you bought raw land and made your own reality.

When you are required to get a permit for several hundred dollars to cut down a planted backyard Walnut tree sums it up?

Mayor Sam of San Jose had an op-ed in the SF Chronicle lamenting all the jobs leaving... saying it's policy and litigation... no matter what you want to do seems it takes years to go through the process and expensive when anyone can stop you in your tracks filing a motion...

Here is a quote from today...

"More important, it evades harder questions. Policy choices got us here. We can change those policies — if we’re willing to do something other than blaming tech for them. The tech-resentful might cheer as companies depart, but after a year in which the Bay Area shed 360,000 jobs, we’d do better to focus on solutions"

Freedom and whatever that means...

My brother is in hot water kind of... he built he simple open AG structure and is zoned AG... well the rules changed last year and a permit is needed with engineering... sure he should have checked but neighboring counties have no requirement nor did his prior... its done and now he is already into thousands on reverse engineering and looks like the simple pole structure will need perimeter bond beams, site welding... etc...

He too is thinking his 80 acres tree farm might be better elsewhere...

We give our horses Ivermectin. We heard about it's benefits for covid and thought about taking some. The Ivermectin paste is in an adjustable tube based on horses weight, so I could figure it out (probably BB sized amount). But then I called our family doctor. He had never heard of it but said "let me read up on it and research it. I'll call you tomorrow". Next day he calls "Wow! That is good stuff! I've called in a prescription".
It was one dose, a tiny tablet.

And what’s with all this “ policy “?
Do people just sit around in their think tanks and invent “ policy “ to make everyone have to change, sometimes at great deal of expense? Do the people who write policy ever have to go through the schhhhhtrugles that they make their constituents go through?
DOUBT IT

I have worked in San Jose... the building permitting through inspections there is brutal; although I will say, one of the best experiences I have had building anywhere was in San Diego... They were amazingly helpful, friendly, and kind.

Yup, at that point I would sell off and "Adios". Not look back. Move to a state that wants my buisiness, and cheaper to operate to boot.

They have similar issues in Vermont. Decent jobs were hard to find when I packed up and left 28 years ago. Got tired of working a full time job plus overtime, then having to find side work for another 20 plus hours a week to keep myself afloat.

States very anti-change. Lots of businesses have packed up and moved to a different state because the city or town they were doing buisiness in wouldn't let them expand their buisiness.

Didn't matter if they were going to be adding more jobs, plus other local buisiness would benefit from the project. Town would tell them "nope, you can't expand!!!"

So instead of more jobs, they lost jobs when the buisiness shut the doors and moved to a state that was more then happy to accommodate them.

Then factor in high taxes, high living expenses, and lack of jobs that pay a livable wage.

It's beautiful there. But I'll never move back.

Re: How痴 Eddie?

When Im looking out at the view seeing the freighters come and go with 70 degree January days I count my blessings and thankful to have great neighbors but running a business and employing people is when things just pile on... it can take many years just to build a single family home on your land zoned single family...

It is in the dogs heartworm tablets.

Ivermectin paste is for horses.

Ivermectin has been approved for use in horses, cattle, sheep, goats, dogs, people and many other species in many different forms, liquid, paste, pills and pour-on for many different ailments. The ivermectin used in all these various treatments is the same except many of the potions have added ingredients which are breed specific and are applied different ways, orally, injected or poured on.

All species get different dosages and all ailments get different dosages. Ivermectin was an incredible discovery and as important to the animal world as penicillin is to humans. You can buy ivermectin for humans or dogs for different conditions but a prescription is necessary. The same ivermectin can be bought for livestock without a prescription. When using ivermectin for off label uses you must use the purest ivermectin without all the different ingredients that are in pour ons and pastes and other "mectin" products. Generally the purest form is a liquid highly diluted with propylene glycol and made to be injected or with oral use. It is easy to find out the dosage for a certain ailment and with a little math determine how many ml to administer. All you have to know is how many mcg/kg of body weight you need for the dose and how many mcg/ml are in the ivermectin you are using. Ivermectin has long been used in humans successfully for many tropical diseases, deworming and even scabies. Oral doses are the most common.

I've known several people who have used it on their own after being tested positive for Covid19 with great success. Since many people who are tested positive have no symptoms there is no way for me to tell if they were just asymptomatic or if the treatment worked.
