Here's where your bread comes from, some of the good people feeding us and a few of their trials just for the harvest part of things. There's also tillage, planting, caring for and risking a lot of $$ on the weather and outcome.

Here is a dairy operation in Pennsylvania cutting silage last fall. I used to do these jobs but with less nice of equipment.

Like grape jam or jelly? Grape juice or maybe a grape NeHi?

This is a very modern grape picker. The older ones are likely Ford tractors with grape picker bodies. Buggy tractors pulling bins ride a row over and picked grapes go into the buggy. Picture silage. From there to a bin at the farm and then forked onto a truck to take to the plant.

Most Concord grapes love the sandy loam and climate of western New York State or Pennsylvania so that's where they're grown.

Farming is a gamble. Video shows the crop damage crop from the hail that passed over the Welker Farm in Sheldy Montana. It's a long video but he speaks about the risk of farming and its weather.

The last 5 minutes is about the neighbor who built an operating model of a BIG bud tractor.

The X9 JD combine in action with a 45ft flex header. You can clearly see it terrain following and flexing in this video. The dump agar can be bend twice for road travel. At maximum harvest output can thrash 7 tractor trailer loads of grain per hour.
