How bad am I scr*wed?

I replaced a Rexroth pump for about $9000 on a JCB. Definitely not for the faint of heart.
I wouldn’t worry about it. Just follow your tractors maintenance schedule. Life’s too short to worry about a pump grenading.
I never realized just how expensive these hydraulic pumps can be for Skidsteers and large construction equipment. They put our tractor hydraulic pumps to shame.

I made a pressure gauge to test the hydraulic pressure. I get around 2350 psi before the pressure relief valve kicks in, which is the pressure mentioned in the service manual so all is good :)

One thing though, my FEL quick release are smaller than the backhoe quick release, I wasn't expecting that. When I bought the quick release, I measured at the backhoe because they were more accessible. I didn't think the front one were smaller. Backhoe's quick release are 1/2" so that makes the FEL qick release 3/8". Now I need to get 3/8" quick release if I want to measure the FEL operating pressure :(
