Imagine, one day a century or two after AI/bots have eradicated the human race. One clever bot, in a ploy for supemacy, invents a self-replicating carbon based somewhat intelligent form of life. Hmmm, the possibilities are endless!

It's the wild west right now. Don't expect "regulations" to keep up or influence any of it. The power is too great. And people are naive.

So do the "uncontaminated" shrimp get irradiated, using Cesium-137??
Do the "contaminated" shrimp get fed to hos or some other animal we consume?
I'd be OK with it if it was organic Cesium-137

Read your article. They don't know why/how and it was Cesium, which is for medical, not power generation.

Most people have a completely ignorant understanding of nuclear waste in modern reactors. Too much Simpsons, too little science.
