How did you first discover Kubota?

I recall way back when seeing these light weight looking scrawny things that were supposed to be tractors. Mostly they were in back yards doing lawn and garden work. Then a few years later I saw them in fields. We all know what happened after that.....

I think it was 1977 or 78, Dad brought home a used L185 (If i remember the series correctly) It eventually became the "Go To" machine for us. When Dad stopped farming the '39 F-20 and the '37-D were sold off (Boy do i regret seeing those two machines go now) and that Kubota is the only one left, it is still used regularly for mowing pastures and other chores. That machine still answers the call every time it's needed. That's why i decided to overbuy for my needs and get a BX 2370 last year, no regrets
