- B26, G11000 generator and a G1800
I bought my first Kubota (a (G1800) in 1995 with 173 hours on it, it now has a bit over 500 and is still working great. I'd done a bit of research and Kubota quality won me over.
I bought it from one of two local dealers (one rural and one in the city) and had great service. I decided to buy a B26 and though I'd try the other, city dealer. I arrived in a shirt and tie after work and I could tell right off the salesman wasn't interested in the city slicker standing in front of him.
Oh well says I and bought my B26 the next day from the rural dealer. I then wanted a G11000 generator a year later but the rural guy didn't carry the Kubota line of generators. I (reluctantly) went back to the city dealer but came across another salesman (this time I didn't come wearing a tie!) Anyway, the sale went great and I did manage to drop the story of the first salesman's poor attitude a few times into the conversation. He didn't say a lot but nodded when I told him the first guy lost a $30k+ sale simply because he thought I was wasting his time.
I won't say who was the city dealer was but the rural dealer was Carri駻e Poirier Equipment Ltd. in Alfred, Ontario. Great people, good prices and outstanding service :thumbsup:e.
