i have a John Deere 990 with a front end loader. How can I run a Woods stump grinder without removing the loader.
how do I control more than one piece of equiptment ?

Is it PTO driven or hyd powered?
You have 35 HP at the PTO.
You have about 9 HP using the hyd.
If hyd, you could use a PB from the loader valve to feed the stump grinder.
Hydraulics:
Type: open center
Capacity: 5.5 gal [20.8 L]
Pressure: 2262 psi [156.0 bar]
Pump flow: 8.5 gpm [32.2 lpm]
Total flow: 13 gpm [49.2 lpm]
Steering flow: 4.5 gpm [17.0 lpm]
You don't have a lot of fluid for a stump grinder.
Have you looked at the stump grinder hyd requirement.

I have a Woods TSG50, I'm pretty sure he's asking about adding rear remotes to run the two double acting cylinders for up/down left/right movement. The grinding wheel is PTO powered.
The Woods TSG50 can operate off two sets of rear remotes, or one pair with either the manual or electric selector valve kit from Woods for the stump grinder.

If it has a loader you could always put in quick connects and use the loader controls to operate the stump grinder, however, you'd be facing the wrong way for controls and have a spaghetti knot of hoses. Maybe not a good idea.... :laughing:
